In 1997, a group of parents of children impacted by cancer chose gold to represent childhood cancer. Thus, the gold ribbon! Ever since then, supporters around the world Go Gold to represent childhood cancer warriors and heroes.
"Make sure you keep finding the good..."

Angel Wall included my cousin
Marilisabeth Gonzalez.
Every single year that I go to Washington DC to speak and use my voice to advocate for childhood cancer, I make sure to always include my cousin. She stays on the wall the entire weekend we are there and everyone gets to know that Marili is an angel that deserved more.
I promise to continue to use my voice to advocate and speak up to everyone who will listen, and tell them that childhood cancer deserves more funding for treatments and a cure…and why we do!.
Child Life Specialists are a Godsend. Make sure your warrior has one.
